The Alberta River Rats Society (ARRS) believes Alberta's rivers and public lands are for everyone to enjoy responsibly.

Whether you are a member of our society, a first-time visitor, a paddler, angler, jet boater, camper, hiker, photographer, or simply someone who appreciates Alberta's backcountry, you are welcome.

ARRS is a volunteer-led, non-profit organization dedicated to improving public access through environmental stewardship, education, and responsible campsite management. Membership is available to those who wish to support our mission, but membership is never required to enjoy the public campsite or participate in responsible use of the area.

Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where everyone shares responsibility for protecting the natural landscape.

We encourage every visitor to:

• Respect fellow users.
• Follow campground rules and safety guidelines.
• Practice Leave No Trace principles.
• Store food responsibly and help protect wildlife.
• Leave the campsite cleaner than you found it.
• Help preserve this special place for future generations.

Together, we can ensure that Alberta's public lands remain accessible, enjoyable, and environmentally sustainable for everyone.
